Make yourself at home in Manchester

Make yourself at home in Manchester

Short-term residential lettings in one of Britain’s most buzzing cities

Manchester is on the rise again. Once the beating heart of the Industrial Revolution, the city has always been an iconic part of modern Britain, from the popularity of Coronation Street to the love-them-or-hate-them character of its two mighty football clubs. In the late eighties and early nineties, the city enjoyed a musical renaissance as ‘Madchester’. Which pioneered the indie-dance and rave scenes. Manchester is booming again. The city’s population swelling as more and more people choose to live in the northwest’s capital of cool.

Attracted by the world-class university, huge range of shops and economic dynamism in various sectors. From tech to fashion, to sporting and cultural heritage, incomers are driving a boom in construction in Manchester’s city centre. But it’s not only permanent home movers who are flocking to the city. Manchester is a popular location for weekend city breaks, and of course its economic growth is also attracting business travellers.

Home from home in Manchester

Whatever your reasons for visiting Manchester, Residential Estates’ new development on Talbot Road is the perfect home from home. This suite of three two-bedroom apartments is in the historic Old Trafford area, close to the famous cricket ground used by Lancashire County Cricket Club and the English national team, and not far from the even more celebrated football stadium, home to Manchester United FC.

More relaxed and economical than a hotel. But with all the luxury and modern conveniences. Each apartment can accommodate up to four people in two double bedrooms, and secure parking is also available. All feature fully equipped kitchens for self-catering, while there are plenty of local options for dining out. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious and comfortable. Relax after a hard day’s work – or indeed a hard day’s shopping and sightseeing – by kicking back in front of the smart TV. Or simply enjoying one another’s company in stylish surroundings.

Paint the town red (or blue)

With Talbot Road as your base, Manchester is your oyster. Grab a tram or take a short drive into Manchester city centre to enjoy shopping in the Arndale Centre. There is art and culture at the Lowry, or of course you could take in a match! Alternatively, simply wander the city to soak up the atmosphere before stopping for drinks and food in any of Manchester’s innumerable eateries. Choose from a range of alternatives, from gastropubs to fine dining. The city also has the second largest Chinatown in the UK. You can sample delicious cuisine from across east Asia. Later on, Manchester’s famous night life really gets going. From gigs at the Manchester Arena to a range of bars and clubs.

Whatever you get up to during your stay in one of Britain’s most buzzing cities, you’ll be glad to ‘come home’ to your stunning apartment in Old Trafford. And if you need somewhere even more central, no problem. Residential Lettings also have fantastic apartments available at Halo House, just minutes from Manchester Victoria Station and the Manchester Arena. Whatever your particular needs, if you’re coming to Manchester, we’ve got you covered.
