Relocation, relocation, relocation

Your very own apartment in the heart of Halifax

Relocation, relocation, relocation

Residential Estates’ short-term lets are popular with holiday makers. Whether it’s a walking holiday in the Lake District or a city break somewhere like Liverpool or Chester, there are plenty of options. But short-term lets are equally suitable for business travellers and contractors. In many companies, the default for putting up stay away on business is a hotel. Not only are most hotels unnecessarily expensive, though. In many ways they offer an inferior experience for guests.

Better than a hotel

It’s true that hotel living can be a byword for luxury. But the reality for most business travellers is far from the James Bond lifestyle of the Ritz. (Other luxury hotel brands are also available.) Hotel rooms are often small and cramped, lack space for relaxing and entertaining. And with no cooking facilities, there is little choice but to eat out. Serviced apartments, by contrast, are typically twice as big. They have separate living rooms. And crucially, fully equipped kitchens mean guests have the freedom to cook for themselves.

Residential Estates offer everything from studios to multi-bedroom homes. Ideal for individual business travellers or team trips. (And also suitable for contractors working on short-term jobs out of town.) Like a hotel, serviced apartments include a housekeeping service. So enjoying a home from home does not have to mean doing the housework! The service is usually weekly, however, and far less intrusive than in a hotel. This means guests benefit from genuine privacy and the feeling of having their own space. Add to all that the fact that short-term lets are cheaper. And don’t have hidden add-on charges for internet etc. Not to mention the savings on food and drink. Budget-wise, it’s a simple decision.

Home from home

The fact is, most people actually prefer a place of their own to staying in a hotel, however fancy. They benefit from the freedom to work and relax in a space that feels like home. They can make their own breakfast in the comfort of their pyjamas. And they have the choice of eating in or out in the evenings. No wonder so many business travellers thank their office teams for booking them into a serviced apartment rather than a hotel.

Our short-term lets are also an excellent option for those seeking temporary accommodation while a move goes through. A home from home while moving home! Residential Estates have apartments available in various parts of England and Wales. Look no further for the perfect property for your short-term accommodation needs.
